Pensions from abroad
The Finnish Centre for Pensions is the contact institution when a person residing in Finland claims a pension from an EU or EEA country, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or a country with which Finland has a social security agreement (Australia, Canada, Chile, India, Israel, Japan, Quebec, South Korea and the United States).
We are responsible for processing the claim for a foreign pension and exchanging information on the claim with pension authorities in different countries and the Finnish authorities. We will send the pension claim and other information needed to make a pension decision to the EU or EEA countries, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the social security agreement countries where the claimant was insured and from where they are claiming a pension.
